Help - Using the Interface

This interface makes use of the Frames extension of Netscape, and will make exploring the gallery faster than using conventional html. A Left Arrow Figure The Left Scrolling list provides a selectable set of exhibits from which to choose. Simply click on any picture or the name under it to pull up the exhibit picture in this window, and information about it below.

An Arrow Figure pointing at about 8 o'clock The Lower Left Buttons take you back to the Wonderful Stitches Home page, to an overview picture of the web site, or to this help, by clicking on one of the buttons.

An Arrow Figure pointing down The Title and Exhibit related Actions are available in the left frame below the picture of the exhibit. One of the options that appears often allows you to exit the frame mode and see the exhibit full screen. You can use the "Back" button or the "Go Back" menu item to return to this interface again. If you have a smaller screen, this is a good way to view the larger pieces.

An Arrow Figure pointing down Exhibit Annotation is provided in the right side frame below the exhibit picture, and can be scrolled for longer text.

Other Hints:If you have a large screen, resizing the entire window will enlarge the gallery picture area. If you have a smaller screen, you can give the exhibit space more area by turning off the Tool Bar, Location, and Directory Button Options.

Click on one of the exhibits shown at the left to continue.
