I did a whole series of single quilt block designs (e.g. Double Peoney) in which all the figures are seated. I also found that I was paying tribute to certain holidays by virtue of the quilt name. In this case, the quilt name is Turkey Tracks, thus Thanksgiving and the Pilgrim.

The quilt reflects the colors of fall, the Pilgrim an appropriate neutral grey with small simple patterns and textures.
