Diamond Cross
This is just one of an infinite number of variations one can create with the simple diamond repeat element. By combining these to create a larger repeat element from one of these diamonds using different colors, you can create all sorts of interesting patterns. It's amazing what a change in colors will do to a pattern, making it look entirely different. The simple diamond cross element is especially good where diagonal elements are important.
