Allyson's Needlecraft came into being in 1995 with the release of six original cross stitch designs. Since then more designs have been released, with even more on the way all the time.

The majority of the designs that you will see have the appearance of being a photo or a peice of art. This was the aim. To get this effect, no limit has been placed on the number of different shades used in each design. This has resulted in a truly unique three dimensional effect in a cross stitch pattern. It can also result in the use of over 60 shades in any one design, often very unlikely colours. However the final result is, I think, effective.
